It is celebrated every year on August 16th, the saint's liturgical day, near the church of San Rocco, in a panoramic position overlooking the upper Lake Como, where the Lecco shore meets Valtellina.

The day combines the religious dimension with a convivial one. In the morning, Holy Mass, in the afternoon Vespers followed by the procession, accompanied by the Villatico musical band. Around the services, there are games, musical moments, and above all, a communal meal.

The sagra's cuisine offers typical local dishes: polenta, sciatt (buckwheat fritters with cheese typical of the nearby Valtellina), sausages, and skewers. Lunch is by reservation. The sagra is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and takes place even in bad weather.

The day, open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and confirmed even in case of bad weather, includes Holy Mass in the morning, Vespers and procession in the afternoon with the Villatico band, and a communal lunch by reservation with polenta, sciatt, sausages, and skewers.

How to get there
Villatico is a hillside hamlet of Colico, at the northern end of Lake Como (province of Lecco). Colico can be reached by car via the SS36 and by train (Colico station, Milan-Sondrio and Lecco-Sondrio lines). Villatico is reached from the center of Colico by ascending towards the hill.
