On the PalaPellicone tatami, the best talents on the continental scene face off: over 30 nations represented and nearly 800 athletes competing, including a strong Italian squad fielded by the national team. The sixteen weight categories, eight male and eight female, are spread across two days, with brackets running from the morning preliminaries through to the final blocks in the afternoon.
