Quality street food arrives in Romanina, featuring food trucks, light displays, and music
The Romanina TTS Street Food is the Roman stop of the touring TTS Food festival, the street food format most loved by enthusiasts of on-the-road dining. For an entire weekend, the parking lot on Via Biagio Petrocelli, adjacent to Parco dei Tricicli in the Romanina district (Municipality VII of Rome), transforms into a grand open-air restaurant: a gourmet village where you can enjoy a culinary experience blending Italian tradition with international flavors, carefully curated with spacious areas equipped with tables and seating.
The heart of the event is a select brigade of twenty Street Chefs ready to cook made-to-order dishes on their food trucks and kitchen stands. The menu spans Italy with regional specialtiesโfrom Roman to Sicilian, Apulian, Marche, and Abruzzese cuisineโand travels the world with Mexican, Venezuelan, Greek, Indian, American, Spanish, and Argentine dishes. There is no shortage of barbecue, desserts, drinks, and gluten-free and vegan options to satisfy every palate.
Alongside the stoves, the drink section takes center stage: unfiltered Bavarian raw beer and the Drink Lab, a space dedicated to signature mixology with cocktails and Spritz prepared by expert bartenders in collaboration with the Campari Group. A commitment to sustainability is reflected in the use of recyclable Tetra Pak mineral water cartons to reduce plastic consumption.
What makes the weekend special are the striking sets, light displays, and music that accompany the public throughout the days, in perfect TTS Food style. Admission is free: an event designed for families, groups of friends, and curious foodies who want to dine outdoors under the stars in one of the neighborhoods in the southeast periphery of the Capital.
The Romanina TTS Street Food is part of the TTS Street Food Tour, a series that brings high-quality street food to numerous squares and neighborhoods in Rome and the Lazio region throughout the year. It is a proven formula that combines conviviality, good food, and entertainment, and in Romanina, it finds one of its most anticipated stops for residents of the city's eastern quadrant.
From May 22 to 24, 2026, the Romanina district hosted a new stop of the TTS Food tour, with twenty food trucks and kitchen stands active for three days. The area, set up with tables and seating, transformed into a grand restaurant under the stars featuring Italian regional flavors and world cuisines. Completing the experience were Bavarian raw beer, the Drink Lab dedicated to signature mixology in collaboration with the Campari Group, and a focus on sustainability with recyclable water cartons.
