Forte Prenestino opens its doors every third Sunday of the month to host terraTERRA, one of the most established and recognizable farmers' markets in the capital. Within the walls of the 19th-century fortress at Via Federico Delpino 108 (Municipality V), the stalls of about twenty-five agricultural producers from Lazio create a short-supply-chain market that runs from morning until sunset.

terraTERRA was born as an experiment in an economic model that involves producers and consumers in a reciprocal relationship, shortening the distance between those who grow and those who buy. Products are self-certified organic and sold at source prices, meaning the price set directly by the producer, without intermediaries.

In the afternoon, there are also musical performances and small concerts that accompany the market's closing, in line with the venue's cultural and self-managed ethos.
