The Rivalta Festa dell'Unità is one of the most anticipated early summer events in Rivalta di Torino, a town in the metropolitan area of Turin, Piedmont. For ten days, the Spazio De Ruggiero—the covered venue in Piazza Gerbidi named after former mayor Nicola de Ruggiero—becomes the hub of local life: a place to meet, discuss, dine, and dance together.
Debates, books, and civil rights
Organized by the Democratic Party of Turin - Metropolitan Federation, the festival blends the convivial tradition of village fairs with a rich program of cultural and civic events. Each evening features book presentations with authors and journalists, debates on current affairs, rights, and civic participation, as well as moments dedicated to historical memory and anti-fascism in collaboration with the ANPI. The festival has always been an opportunity to openly discuss society, labor, and citizenship in an informal setting open to everyone.
Music, dancing, and fine food
Alongside the cultural agenda, the Rivalta Festa dell'Unità keeps its popular, festive spirit alive: ballroom dancing evenings with live orchestras attract crowds of all ages, while the festival restaurant, open every night, serves traditional dishes at affordable prices. Rivalta Festa dell'Unità — edition 2026
L'edizione 2026 della Festa dell'Unità di Rivalta si è tenuta dal 4 al 13 giugno 2026 allo Spazio De Ruggiero di piazza Gerbidi, a Rivalta di Torino. Il tema scelto per quest'anno è stato l'80° anniversario del suffragio femminile, filo conduttore di numerosi incontri dedicati ai diritti e alla partecipazione delle donne. Accanto ai dibattiti, con ospiti della politica, del giornalismo e dello sport, la festa ha proposto presentazioni di libri, una serata antifascista con l'ANPI, i canti della Resistenza del Coro provinciale ANPI di Torino e diverse serate di ballo liscio con orchestre dal vivo. Il ristorante della festa è rimasto aperto ogni sera dalle 19:30.

- 19:00 — Inaugurazione della festa con il sindaco di Rivalta Sergio Muro e il segretario provinciale Marcello Mazzù
- 19:30 — Apertura del ristorante
Venerdì 5 giugno
- 18:00 — Presentazione del libro "L'ultimo operaio" di Niccolò Zancan
- 19:30 — Cena antifascista con l'ANPI
Sabato 6 giugno
- 21:00 — Serata di ballo liscio con Lu & Ago
Domenica 7 giugno
- 21:00 — Dibattito "Allenare la comunità nello sport e nei diritti" con l'ex commissario tecnico della nazionale di pallavolo e deputato Mauro Berruto
Martedì 9 giugno
- Dibattito "Partecipazione: protagonismo giovanile e spazi di aggregazione", dedicato alle giovani generazioni
Venerdì 12 giugno
- Canti della Resistenza con il Coro provinciale ANPI di Torino
Sabato 13 giugno
- 21:00 — Serata di chiusura con ballo liscio e Christian Balletto
Il ristorante della festa è stato aperto ogni sera dalle 19:30 per tutta la durata della manifestazione.
