ReWine & Food – Wines and Flavours of Maremma is the food and wine event bringing the very best of the Monteregio region to the Fonderia Leopolda in Follonica. Wineries, oil mills, dairies, and cured meat producers from the Grosseto Maremma gather for a day of tastings and networking. Organized by the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori Monteregio di Massa Marittima, the event reserves the afternoon for Ho.Re.Ca. industry professionals before opening its doors to the public to discover and sample local excellence directly from the producers. ReWine & Food, the taste of Maremma in Follonica

In the heart of Follonica, in the province of Grosseto, the evocative Fonderia Leopolda hosts ReWine & Food – Wines and Flavours of Maremma, the showcase celebrating the food and wine heritage of the Monteregio territory. A day entirely dedicated to the wines and flavours of the Tuscan Maremma, designed to connect producers directly with industry professionals and the general public of enthusiasts.

The Monteregio territory

The event is organized by the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori Monteregio di Massa Marittima, the association that has long promoted the products of an extraordinary area spanning the Colline Metallifere and the upper Grosseto Maremma, including the municipalities of Massa Marittima, Monterotondo Marittimo, Montieri, Follonica, Scarlino, Gavorrano, Roccastrada, and Castiglione della Pescaia. A landscape of vineyards, olive groves, and forests that gives life to wines, oils, cheeses, and cured meats with a strong identity.

What to expect

At ReWine & Food, you will meet wineries, oil mills, dairies, and cured meat producers from the Maremma in a tasting journey that tells the story of the variety and quality of local production. It is the ideal opportunity to get to know the protagonists of the territory up close, listen to their stories, and savour labels and delicacies often difficult to find outside the area.

A showcase that combines territorial promotion, food and wine tourism, and supply chain relations, all within an iconic industrial setting like the Fonderia Leopolda.

The 2026 edition of ReWine & Food – Wines and Flavours of Maremma took place on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Fonderia Leopolda in Follonica, confirming the city as a food and wine hub of the Maremma. Wineries, oil mills, dairies, and cured meat producers from the Monteregio area gathered for a day of tastings, first reserved for Ho.Re.Ca. professionals and then opened to the public.

The 2026 edition of ReWine & Food was held on March 30, 2026, at the Fonderia Leopolda in Follonica, organized by the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori Monteregio di Massa Marittima.

The day saw the participation of wineries, oil mills, dairies, and cured meat producers from the Maremma, with a two-part format that fostered meetings between producers, industry professionals, and the public.

Monday, March 30, 2026 — Fonderia Leopolda, Follonica

  • 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM — Access reserved for Ho.Re.Ca. industry professionals (restaurateurs, distributors, trade workers), with tastings and supply chain meetings with producers.
  • 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM — Open to the public: guided tastings and direct contact with wineries, oil mills, dairies, and cured meat producers of the Monteregio.

A personal tasting glass is provided upon accreditation. Exhibitors: producers of wine, oil, cheese, and cured meats from the Monteregio and Grosseto Maremma area.
