Rewind Music Festival

A journey back in time in the heart of Laives

The Rewind Music Festival is an event dedicated to the music and pop culture of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, enlivening Piazza San Giacomo in Laives/Leifers, in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of Trentino-South Tyrol. For two days, the square transforms into a large open-air stage where you can dance, sing, and relive the atmosphere of some of the most iconic decades in popular music.

Music, entertainment, and vintage culture

The festival is more than just a musical event; it is a truly immersive experience. The stage hosts live bands, DJ sets, and roving performers revisiting the greatest hits of the past, while the square fills with people of all ages. Surrounding the music is a rich array of activities: vintage cars and motorcycles on display, retro markets with collectibles and vinyl records, a themed art area, an Airstream trailer offering barber and tattoo services, and, of course, street food with delicious local specialties.

An event for the whole family

Designed for audiences of all ages, the Rewind Music Festival also offers entertainment for children, as well as themed contests—such as the 70s, 80s, and 90s costume challenge. Admission is free, and the open-air format makes the event accessible and convivial, in the perfect style of a traditional town square festival.

A young festival, born in Laives

The first edition took place on September 19 and 20, 2025, organized by the Holos Cultural Association (Accademia Dialetti Visivi) of Bolzano in collaboration with Exos and under the patronage of the Municipality of Laives. It is a fresh project aiming to secure its place in the South Tyrolean event calendar, uniting musical nostalgia, fashion, and popular culture in one big community celebration.
