The De.Co. raviolo of Vallebona, from the San Lorenzo feast
The Raviolo Festival is the gastronomic festival that symbolizes Vallebona, a village in the hinterland of Bordighera in the province of Imperia. The protagonist is the raviolo, protected by the De.Co. (Municipal Denomination) and rigorously handmade according to a traditional recipe, created for the patronal feast of San Lorenzo.
The festival is held on two dates: the first event in July and the second in August, coinciding with the eve of the patronal feast of San Lorenzo (August 10th). On both occasions, the village comes alive with food stalls, aromas, and conviviality, with ravioli as the absolute stars.
The festival is recognized among the Authentic Events of Liguria, a brand that promotes events most closely linked to the region's traditions. It's an opportunity to savor an iconic dish and discover Vallebona, with its narrow streets and authentic atmosphere, just a few kilometers from the coast of the Riviera dei Fiori.
For 2026, the Raviolo Festival will have two events in Vallebona: the first on Saturday, July 11, and the second on Monday, August 10, coinciding with the eve of the patronal feast of San Lorenzo.
On both evenings, the village will host food stalls with the De.Co. raviolo prepared by hand according to the traditional recipe. The event is recognized as an Authentic Event of Liguria 2026.
