Three days in San Terenziano to celebrate porchetta and its masters
In the village of San Terenziano, a hamlet of Gualdo Cattaneo in the province of Perugia, Porquesì makes its debut, a festival entirely dedicated to porchetta, one of Umbria's gastronomic excellences, and to the master porchetta makers who preserve its tradition. For three days, the village, from 11 AM until late evening, becomes a lively and colorful scene of flavors, local culture, and conviviality.
The heart of the event features the historic porchetta makers from the area, including La Porchetta di Grutti (since 1939), Natalizi with Cicotto Slow Food Presidium, Antica Porchetteria Granieri 1916, Porchetta di Marcellano, Antica Norcineria dal 1936, Carletti Enzo dal 1925, Porchetta di Pantalla Mastrini dal 1969, and Il Ghiottone Porchetta di Bevagna. Alongside the stands, there are workshops, shows, and activities for all ages, accompanied by Umbrian wines.
Also presented in Rome, Porquesì is promoted by the Municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo and organized by Un/Lab, with the aim of enhancing an iconic Umbrian product and the entire Gualdo area. Even at its debut, the event saw a large public turnout.
The first edition of Porquesì transformed San Terenziano into a stage of taste from May 15 to 17, 2026. The official inauguration was on Friday, May 15, at 5:30 PM in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III, with a rich program of stands by historic porchetta makers, tastings, workshops, shows, and music. The event, with free admission, recorded extraordinary public turnout according to the organizers.

San Terenziano is a hamlet of Gualdo Cattaneo (PG). By car from the E45 (Todi exit) or the SS3 Flaminia. The inauguration takes place in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III.
The festival is open from 11:00 AM until late evening, for all three days.
Free. Food and drinks at the stands are paid.
