About Artigianando
The Foligno Craft Market
Artigianando is the monthly event dedicated to small crafts and creativity in Foligno, in the Province of Perugia. It is the twin event of Anticamente: where the latter offers antiques and collectibles, Artigianando showcases the work of local artisans and creatives, with handmade objects, decorations, costume jewelry, fabrics, and original creations.
Where and When
The market exhibition takes place on the Saturday before the first Sunday of the month, from 9 am to sunset. The location changes with the seasons: Piazza San Domenico from January to May and from October to December, the Parco dei Canapè during the summer months (from June to August). From April to December, the event also features special appointments at Palazzo Trinci, the historic noble palace that houses the famous late-Gothic frescoes.
A Showcase for Local Creatives
Organized by the In-Divenire association, Artigianando offers visibility to local craftsmanship and contributes to animating the historic center of Foligno all year round, a lively city in the Valle Umbra also known for the Giostra della Quintana. For the visitor, it is an opportunity to discover unique products and support the local artisan work.
Artigianando — edition 2026
For 2026, the Artigianando event confirms its monthly schedule in Foligno dedicated to craftsmanship and creativity. The stalls of local artisans and creatives are set up from 9 am to sunset in Piazza San Domenico (January-May, October-December) or at Parco dei Canapè during the summer months (June-August). From April to December, special events are also planned at Palazzo Trinci. The organization is managed by the In-Divenire association with the patronage of the Municipality.

How to get there
Foligno is an important railway hub on the Rome-Ancona and Rome-Florence lines, and can be reached by car from the SS3 Flaminia. Piazza San Domenico, Parco dei Canapè, and Palazzo Trinci are in the historic center.
