The Porchetta and Gnocco Fritto Festival is one of the most cherished gastronomic events in Cameri, a town in the Novara province, Piedmont. Organized by the Rione Serpente in partnership with the Pro Loco, the festival enlivens the via Sabbioncelli Market Area for three days, transforming it into a spacious social venue with a kitchen, long communal tables, and a stage for live music.

Gastronomy takes center stage

The heart of the festival is the table. Porchetta, prepared according to ancient recipes, is the undisputed queen, accompanied by the famous gnocco fritto—fluffy and golden—and oven-baked ribs, which have inspired the delicious "Costina Day" in recent years. The menu is completed by beer and traditional Po Valley dishes. The kitchen opens every evening at 7:30 PM, and on Sunday, it also serves lunch for those who want to spend the whole day in good company.

Music, motors, and fun

Beyond the great food, the festival focuses heavily on entertainment. Evenings are marked by live concerts and DJ sets ranging from rockabilly and rock and roll to more popular and nostalgic vibes. Sunday is traditionally dedicated to the vintage car and motorcycle rally, bringing historic models and motor enthusiasts to the square. It is a festival designed for all ages, where local families and visitors from neighboring towns gather in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
