The Porcari White Night

The Porcari White Night is the flagship event of the summer in the town of Porcari, in the province of Lucca, in the heart of north-western Tuscany. For one night, the town center transforms into a large open-air stage: Piazza Felice Orsi and the surrounding streets fill with music, lights, shows, and crowds until late at night, with shops and businesses open for the occasion.

A widespread festival

The format is the classic 'white night': multiple squares and streets are animated simultaneously, allowing the public to stroll and discover one attraction after another. The program features a mix of DJ sets, live bands, street performers, jugglers and fire artists, dance schools, exhibitions, and entertainment for children. The atmosphere is completed by street food stalls, markets, and commercial offerings designed to bring the center of Porcari to life in a convivial and engaging way.

The Riccardo Cioni Memorial

The most anticipated moment is the DJ Full Time Riccardo Cioni Memorial, dedicated to the legendary DJ who passed away in 2021, a key figure in the Lucca and Tuscan music scene. The evening, born from the explicit wish of the Cioni family, combines fun and charity: the artists' fees are donated to support the community, specifically for upgrading local emergency services.

Part of the Porcari Summer

The White Night is part of the rich Porcari Summer calendar, a festival that brings concerts, shows, parties with Radio Mitology, and family events to Porcari from early June to mid-July. The 2026 edition is also part of the "75,000 and one nights" project by the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce, which supports eleven themed "nights" across the provinces of Lucca, Pisa, and Massa-Carrara to promote urban centers and local commerce.

An event for the whole community

Organized by the Confcommercio "Porcari Attiva" Natural Shopping Center in collaboration with the Municipality of Porcari and numerous local associations, the White Night is a free event open to everyone, designed to bring residents and visitors together in one big summer celebration of music, connection, and solidarity.
