Notti di stelle, summer under the sky of Villa Stonorov

Notti di stelle is the summer festival organised by the Jorio Vivarelli Foundation in the open-air amphitheatre of the Villa Stonorov park, in Felceti, just outside Pistoia. From June 4th to September 11th, 2026, primarily on Thursday evenings at 9:15 PM, the stage nestled in the greenery and among the maestro's sculptures hosts concerts, theatrical monologues, poetry readings, and themed evenings, in an intimate and familiar atmosphere that has become a staple of Pistoia's summer.

A unique venue in the Municipality of Pistoia

The Jorio Vivarelli Foundation preserves the artistic legacy of the Pistoia-born sculptor Jorio Vivarelli within Villa Stonorov, a residence designed by architect Oskar Stonorov. In summer, the park and amphitheatre become a natural stage: the audience enjoys performances surrounded by works of art, in a constant dialogue between music, words, and sculpture that makes every evening unique.

The 2026 Programme

The 2026 edition of Notti di stelle offers a varied and multidisciplinary line-up. Announced highlights include:

• June 4th – opening night "La notte è '60", dedicated to 1960s Italian music with an aperi-picnic and vintage cars;
• June 11th – poetic monologue with Monica Petroni;
• June 18th – blues night "Aspettando Pistoia Blues";
• June 25th – jazz concert "Nini Rosso meets Miles Davis";
• July 9th – summer evening "Voglia di Vivere";
• July 16th – jazz with the Morelove duo;
• July 23rd – poetry readings, now in their fourth edition;
• July 30th – show "Terra, un pianeta da salvare";
• September 5th – "La notte dei cantautori";
• September 11th – closing night featuring rock, blues, R&B, and soul.

The festival takes a break during August, resuming in September for the final events.
