This is the event that the Centro Commerciale Naturale Commercio Porcari 4.0, together with Confcommercio Lucca, dedicates to the historic center: for an entire Sunday, the town's streets and squares become a vast open-air market where local shops, associations, and visitors gather to welcome the new season.

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the historic center of Porcari hosted the tenth edition of Porcari in Festa, organized by the Centro Commerciale Naturale Commercio Porcari 4.0 with Confcommercio Lucca. The 2026 edition had a special flavor: it took place during the days when the Giro d'Italia passed through the territory, featuring side events dedicated to cycling.
The streets of the town were filled with stalls of flowers, plants, and gardening equipment, a craft market, food trucks with sweet and savory specialties, and numerous activities for families and children.

How to get there
Porcari is located in the Piana di Lucca and is easily accessible by car via the A11 Firenze-Mare motorway (Capannori or Altopascio exit). By train, the Porcari station is on the Lucca-Florence line, just a short walk from the center.
