The Pietraperzia Scents and Flavors Festival is a food and wine event that celebrates the rural identity and agricultural heritage of the area. Pietraperzia is a town in the Enna hinterland known for its agricultural roots and folk traditions. The event usually takes place in September, in the Viale Marconi square, with the usual formula combining tastings of local olive oil, honey, and almonds, dance performances, music, and entertainment for children. The festival is held in the square in front of the Vincenzo Guarnaccia Institute, along Viale Marconi, in Pietraperzia (EN).
By car: Pietraperzia is accessible via the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway (exit towards Enna) and the network of state and provincial roads in the hinterland. The nearest train station is in Enna; alternatively, the town can be reached by bus from the main towns in the province.
Access to the stalls and performances is free. Tastings of local products take place at the individual exhibition stalls.
