About Paganella Rally

The Paganella Rally is an annual spring car racing event based in Andalo, in the province of Trento. As a qualifying round for the Zone 4 Rally Cup, the event features dozens of crews competing on timed special stages that cut through the forests and mountain passes of nine different Trentino municipalities, from Andalo to Fai della Paganella, and Cavedago to Campodenno. It is a weekend of high-octane action, spectacle, and adrenaline in one of the region's most stunning alpine settings, featuring a shakedown, a night stage, and repeat runs on Sunday.

The Paganella Plateau Rally

The Paganella Rally is one of the youngest and fastest-growing automotive competitions in the Trentino motorsport scene. Established in 2024 by the TT Corse association in collaboration with the Scuderia Trentina, the rally has made Andalo, in the heart of the Paganella Plateau (Trento province), its logistical base and headquarters. The event is a national rally valid for the Zone 4 Rally Cup (CRZ4), the championship that brings together competitions from north-east Italy.

A route across nine Trentino municipalities

What makes the Paganella Rally special is its deep connection to the territory: the timed special stages wind along the roads of nine different municipalities across the Plateau and the Val di Non โ€” Andalo, Fai della Paganella, Cavedago, Sporminore, Spormaggiore, Campodenno, and Ton, with Molveno hosting the regrouping area and Stenico serving as the site for collective testing. Crews face challenging stretches immersed in forests and alpine hairpins, with panoramic views of the Paganella massif and the Brenta Dolomites.

Two days of racing

The format features an intense weekend: Saturday kicks off the action with the shakedown and the first special stages, including a spectacular night stage finishing in Andalo; Sunday features the longer stages, run twice, which determine the final standings. The vehicles range from modern Rally2 cars to historic models, in a variety of categories that attract drivers from all over Northern Italy.

An event for the local community

The Paganella Rally is much more than a sporting competition: it is an appointment that involves local municipal administrations, Pro Loco associations, and enthusiasts, bringing economic activity and visibility to the Plateau during the low season between the end of the ski season and the start of summer. The special stages are open to the public, who can watch the racing spectacle for free by choosing panoramic vantage points along the route.

Paganella Rally โ€” edition 2026

The third edition of the Paganella Rally took place on April 18 and 19, 2026, in Andalo, with a record 107 crews at the start. Valid as the second round of the Zone 4 Rally Cup, the race saw the absolute dominance of Trentino natives Alessandro Zanolli and Denis Pozzo in a Skoda Fabia RS, marking their third consecutive victory on the Plateau.

3rd edition โ€” a record number of entries
