About Orvieto Art & Food

In Orvieto, in the heart of Umbria, the Art & Food Festival blends visual arts and local flavors. For nine days, the Palazzo del Vino e dei Prodotti della Terra hosts contemporary art exhibitions, craft and photography displays, and a guided tasting journey dedicated to the wines and typical products of the Trasimeno and Orvieto areas. A complete sensory experience, with free entry to exhibition areas and paid tastings, promoted by the Orvieto Events Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Orvieto.

When Art Meets Taste

The Orvieto Art & Food Festival is the event that, in the heart of the Province of Terni, celebrates the union of visual arts and quality food and wine. The setting is the evocative Palazzo del Vino e dei Prodotti della Terra, in the historic center of the city on the cliff, where for over a week exhibitions, tasting stands, and taste workshops coexist.

A Journey Through Art and Craftsmanship

The festival brings together artists and artisans with offerings ranging from visual arts to photography, from sculpture to design. Among the names that have animated the exhibition are Moreno Biritognolo, Massimo Chioccia, Olga Tsarkova, Claudio Cecca, Marco Ciarlora, Patrick Richmond Nicholas, and many others, in a continuous dialogue between contemporary creativity and Umbrian artisan tradition.

The Enogastronomic Excellence of Umbria

The gourmet heart of the festival is the guided tasting journey, featuring wineries and local producers such as Cantine Neri, Colledigemma, Feudi Spada, Frantoio Ranchino, La Cerchiara, Terrazze di Spazzavento, Birralfina, and Il Fossile. Wines, oils, craft beers, and typical products tell the gastronomic story of Orvieto and Umbria.

A Showcase for the Territory

Promoted by the Orvieto Events Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Orvieto and the GAL Trasimeno-Orvietano, the festival enhances the identity of the Orvieto area and represents a spring event that combines culture, tourism, and taste in one of Central Italy's most fascinating cities.
