Contemporary art, Umbrian crafts, and food and wine at the Palazzo del Vino
The Orvieto Art & Food Festival is the event that, in the heart of the Province of Terni, celebrates the union of visual arts and quality food and wine. The setting is the evocative Palazzo del Vino e dei Prodotti della Terra, in the historic center of the city on the cliff, where for over a week exhibitions, tasting stands, and taste workshops coexist.
The festival brings together artists and artisans with offerings ranging from visual arts to photography, from sculpture to design. Among the names that have animated the exhibition are Moreno Biritognolo, Massimo Chioccia, Olga Tsarkova, Claudio Cecca, Marco Ciarlora, Patrick Richmond Nicholas, and many others, in a continuous dialogue between contemporary creativity and Umbrian artisan tradition.
The gourmet heart of the festival is the guided tasting journey, featuring wineries and local producers such as Cantine Neri, Colledigemma, Feudi Spada, Frantoio Ranchino, La Cerchiara, Terrazze di Spazzavento, Birralfina, and Il Fossile. Wines, oils, craft beers, and typical products tell the gastronomic story of Orvieto and Umbria.
Promoted by the Orvieto Events Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Orvieto and the GAL Trasimeno-Orvietano, the festival enhances the identity of the Orvieto area and represents a spring event that combines culture, tourism, and taste in one of Central Italy's most fascinating cities.
From April 25 to May 3, 2026, the Palazzo del Vino e dei Prodotti della Terra in Orvieto hosts a new edition of the festival that unites visual arts and food and wine. The event features contemporary art exhibitions, craft displays, and an extensive program of guided tastings with local wineries and producers.
