A photographic exhibition between the roots and the gazes on the city of the cliff
Orvieto, Roots and Visions is a photographic exhibition that offers an intimate and contemporary look at the city of the cliff, in the Province of Terni. The exhibition brings together the work of photographers Roberta Cotigni and Noemi Morelli, who through their shots investigate the roots, identity, and visions of Orvieto.
The title of the exhibition itself summarizes its spirit: on one hand, the roots, meaning the memory, places, and traditions that define the city; on the other hand, the visions, new perspectives, and interpretations that photography provides. A journey that invites the visitor to rediscover Orvieto with different eyes.
The exhibition is set up in the atrium of Palazzo dei Sette, one of the symbolic buildings of Orvieto's historic center. The initiative is part of the unified events calendar "Orvieto Always On", promoted by the Municipality of Orvieto, and is aimed at both residents and the numerous visitors of the Umbrian city.
From September 5th to 20th, 2026, the atrium of Palazzo dei Sette in Orvieto will host the photographic exhibition "Orvieto, Roots and Visions". The exhibition features photographs by Roberta Cotigni and Noemi Morelli, the result of a project dedicated to the roots and visions of the city of the cliff.
The exhibition is part of the unified events calendar "Orvieto Always On 2026", promoted by the Municipality of Orvieto.
