A review that enlivens the villages
"Il Risveglio dei Borghi" is an initiative promoted by the Municipal Administration of Baschi, in the province of Terni, to liven up the centers of the territory between the end of summer and autumn. The review involves the main town and the hamlets of Civitella del Lago and Acqualoreto, each with its own event.
Five elements
The event revolves around five keywords: environment, culture, food and wine, shows, and music. A mix that combines reflection on environmental and community issues with street festivals, live performances, and local cuisine.
Music and live entertainment
The program alternates concerts, theatrical performances, and tributes to great Italian songwriting - from Fabrizio De André to Rino Gaetano, from Francesco Guccini to Rino Gaetano - with performances and musical groups that perform in the village squares. Food stands offer local dishes starting in the evening.
A territory to discover
Baschi and its hamlets are located in an area of great scenic beauty, between Lake Corbara and the Tiber River, along the Todi-Orvieto axis. "Il Risveglio dei Borghi" is an opportunity to discover these small villages in southern Umbria, far from the major tourist flows.

For 2026 too, the Municipality of Baschi confirms the annual recurrence of the review, which enlivens the villages of the territory in the late summer-autumn period. The format includes distinct events in the main town and in the hamlets of Civitella del Lago and Acqualoreto, centered around the five elements of the festival: environment, culture, food and wine, shows, and music.

The usual structure includes evenings with concerts and shows (often tributes to Italian songwriting) for each village, alongside food stands open from 7:00 PM with local dishes.

How to get there
Baschi is located in the province of Terni, along the A1 highway (Orvieto exit) and the E45. The hamlets of Civitella del Lago and Acqualoreto can be reached via the hilly roads that climb from the Tiber valley floor.

Free admission events. Food stands open from the evening. Dates and program for each year are announced by the Municipality of Baschi in the weeks preceding the event.
