Onde di Vino

A toast lulled by the melody of the sea

Onde di Vino is the food and wine event that, in the heart of summer, enlivens the canal port of Bellaria-Igea Marina, on the Romagna Riviera in the province of Rimini. For two evenings in mid-August, the charming waterfront of Via A. Pinzon transforms into a journey of taste where wine, food, and music meet under the stars, with the sea as a backdrop. Founded in 2023, the festival has quickly become a regular fixture on the municipality's summer calendar.

Wine takes center stage

The heart of the event is the tastings: about twenty local wineries present their labels, with the participation of entities linked to the Rimini Rebola and the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli di Rimini (Wine and Flavors Route of the Rimini Hills). Visitors receive a kit with a bag, glass, and tasting tickets and move freely along the canal port, sampling wines from the Rimini hills from stand to stand. Two participation formulas are usually offered, one lighter and one richer in tastings, designed to welcome even those new to the world of local oenology.

Flavors of Romagna

Accompanying the wine, there is no shortage of typical gastronomy: along the route, several food stalls offer piadina, fish dishes, and street food options, in true Romagna style. It's an opportunity to combine wine culture with the coastal culinary tradition, in an informal and convivial setting.

Live Music

The evenings are accompanied by live music and DJ sets: past editions have featured entertainment themed around the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, violin notes, and jazz and swing sounds, in a program designed to provide a soundtrack to the food and wine stroll without ever overpowering the relaxed atmosphere of the waterfront.

A festival for the Rimini summer

Organized by GMConsulting with the support of the Fondazione Verdeblu, Onde di Vino is now one of the most beloved food and wine events of the Bellaria-Igea Marina summer. The setting of the canal port, the lights on the water, and the location just a short walk from the sea make it an event suitable for both holiday tourists and residents, for a Ferragosto filled with flavors and conviviality of the Emilia-Romagna Riviera.
