Olio e nons'Olio is the olive growing festival of Chiaramonte Gulfi, a village in the province of Ragusa known as the "City of Oil," perched on the hills of the Iblean Mountains. The event celebrates the Monti Iblei DOP extra virgin olive oil, specifically the Gulfi sub-zone unique to the Chiaramonte area: a product that has earned the most prestigious national and international awards in recent years.

A journey through the aromas and flavors of olive oil

The festival is a true sensory journey: olive oil is not just a condiment, but the star of a thousand creations ranging from traditional cuisine to soap and gelato. The streets and squares of the historic center, with Piazza Duomo as the heart of the event, host stalls of local products, tasting counters, and moments of conviviality that tell the story of the Iblean farming culture.
