The summer events calendar between Vittoria and the Scoglitti seaside

Kamarinèe is the summer festival of the Municipality of Vittoria, a city in the province of Ragusa, in south-eastern Sicily. The name evokes the ancient Greek colony of Kamarina, founded along this stretch of coast and now a highly significant archaeological site: an identity-based reference that links the program to the deepest roots of the Iblean territory. Originally established as a structured municipal program, Kamarinèe brings together dozens of initiatives under a single banner, enlivening the Vittoria summer from July until the end of September.
The strength of the event lies in its breadth: the program typically exceeds one hundred appointments and embraces a wide variety of genres and audiences. It ranges from live music to theatrical performances, book presentations to conferences, art exhibitions to open-air film screenings, as well as food festivals, educational workshops for children, and dance nights. Events are distributed across the squares and iconic landmarks of the city and, above all, along the seafront of Scoglitti, the seaside district that doubles its population in summer and becomes the beating heart of evening life.
A large portion of the evenings takes place in Scoglitti, overlooking the Mediterranean and famous for its beaches and fishing tradition. The venues involved include the village squares and the characteristic Lighthouse, which hosts exhibitions curated in collaboration with the Pro Loco Scoglitti Kamarina. The blend of cultural offerings and the seaside atmosphere makes Kamarinèe a favorite among both residents and the many vacationers who choose this corner of the Iblean coast.
One of the distinctive aspects of the festival is that it is free: all events on the calendar offer free admission, in line with the municipal administration's desire to provide a rich and inclusive summer for all age groups. Kamarinèe thus confirms itself as one of the most representative summer events of the Municipality of Vittoria and the entire Ragusa area, capable of enhancing the cultural, gastronomic, and landscape heritage of this part of Sicily.
The event spans the summer months, roughly from July to September, with a dense calendar updated year by year by the Municipality of Vittoria. The dates and detailed program for the 2026 edition have not yet been officially announced: it is recommended to check the Municipality's channels for updates.
The 2026 edition of Kamarinèe has not yet been officially presented by the Municipality of Vittoria at the time of writing. The dates and detailed program for summer 2026 will be communicated via the Municipality's official channels, presumably in the weeks leading up to the start of the season. Based on recent editions, the calendar is expected to once again enliven Vittoria and Scoglitti with a rich, free program of cultural, musical, and gastronomic events spread throughout the area.
Events are held in Vittoria (RG) and the seaside district of Scoglitti, in Sicily. Venues change depending on the event: city squares, the seafront, and the Scoglitti Lighthouse.
