About Notti di Gusto

Notti di Gusto, also known as Tusa Blu Food, is the summer event that brings the seafront of Castel di Tusa—a seaside hamlet in the municipality of Tusa, near Messina—to life every July. For three days, this village overlooking the Nebrodi sea celebrates its Blue Flag status with food stalls, Sicilian street food, craft beers, conferences, cooking workshops, and free live music, all in a convivial atmosphere blending local flavors with stunning Tyrrhenian views.

Notti di Gusto: The taste of Sicily on the shores of Tusa

Notti di Gusto, also known as Tusa Blu Food, is a food, wine, and cultural festival held every summer on the seafront of Castel di Tusa, the coastal hamlet of the municipality of Tusa, in the province of Messina. Part of the town's summer calendar, the event was created to celebrate the Blue Flag status awarded to the beach of Castel di Tusa—a recognition held for several consecutive years—and to promote the region through food, music, and culture.

Street food, local excellence, and craft beers

The heart of the festival lies in the food stalls set up along the waterfront, where visitors can savor authentic Sicilian street food and signature local dishes. From seafood specialties to the finest products of the Nebrodi mountains, and from Sicilian craft beers to traditional sweets like cannoli, granita, and local pastries, there is something for everyone. The culinary experience is enhanced by workshops and live cooking demonstrations dedicated to local products, featuring renowned food experts and famous faces from the culinary world.

Conferences, shows, and live music

Alongside the gastronomic offerings, Notti di Gusto features a packed program of conferences focusing on sustainable tourism, the blue economy, and regional development. The evenings are brought to life by comedy shows, DJ sets, and live music that continue late into the night. This winning formula combines entertainment, cultural insight, and tastings, making the event a highly anticipated highlight of the summer in the Nebrodi area.

Castel di Tusa: A village between sea and art

The setting is the evocative village of Castel di Tusa, also famous for Fiumara d'Arte, the renowned open-air museum scattered with monumental sculptures throughout the municipal territory. Between the Blue Flag-awarded sea, gastronomic traditions, and cultural identity, Notti di Gusto is the perfect showcase to discover this corner of the Tyrrhenian coast and the hospitality of the Tusa municipality.
