Three days of street food, music, and culture on the Castel di Tusa seafront

Notti di Gusto, also known as Tusa Blu Food, is a food, wine, and cultural festival held every summer on the seafront of Castel di Tusa, the coastal hamlet of the municipality of Tusa, in the province of Messina. Part of the town's summer calendar, the event was created to celebrate the Blue Flag status awarded to the beach of Castel di Tusa—a recognition held for several consecutive years—and to promote the region through food, music, and culture.
The heart of the festival lies in the food stalls set up along the waterfront, where visitors can savor authentic Sicilian street food and signature local dishes. From seafood specialties to the finest products of the Nebrodi mountains, and from Sicilian craft beers to traditional sweets like cannoli, granita, and local pastries, there is something for everyone. The culinary experience is enhanced by workshops and live cooking demonstrations dedicated to local products, featuring renowned food experts and famous faces from the culinary world.
Alongside the gastronomic offerings, Notti di Gusto features a packed program of conferences focusing on sustainable tourism, the blue economy, and regional development. The evenings are brought to life by comedy shows, DJ sets, and live music that continue late into the night. This winning formula combines entertainment, cultural insight, and tastings, making the event a highly anticipated highlight of the summer in the Nebrodi area.
The setting is the evocative village of Castel di Tusa, also famous for Fiumara d'Arte, the renowned open-air museum scattered with monumental sculptures throughout the municipal territory. Between the Blue Flag-awarded sea, gastronomic traditions, and cultural identity, Notti di Gusto is the perfect showcase to discover this corner of the Tyrrhenian coast and the hospitality of the Tusa municipality.
The Municipality of Tusa is once again hosting the summer event Notti di Gusto - Tusa Blu Food on the Castel di Tusa seafront for 2026. As in previous years, the event is expected to span three evenings in July, featuring food stalls, Sicilian street food, craft beers, conferences, and live entertainment. Dates and the program for the 2026 edition have not yet been officially published: this page will be updated as soon as the organizers announce the final calendar.
Castel di Tusa can be reached by car via the A20 Messina-Palermo motorway (Tusa exit) or by train, stopping at the Castel di Tusa station on the Tyrrhenian line.
Access to the event area is free; tastings at the food stalls are available for purchase according to individual stand menus.
The event takes place in July on the Castel di Tusa seafront over the course of three evenings.
