A summer night of music, culture, shopping, and flavor in the heart of Termini Imerese
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Notte Bianca of Termini Imerese is one of the most beloved summer events on the Tyrrhenian coast of the Palermo province. Born from the initiative of the Merchants' Committee with the patronage of the Municipality of Termini Imerese and the support of the Metropolitan City of Palermo, the festival transforms the entire historic center into a vibrant celebration space where music, culture, shopping, and gastronomy intertwine until dawn.
From late afternoon until deep into the night, the streets and squares of the center—from Corso Umberto e Margherita to Piazza La Masa, and from Piazza del Carmelo to Piazza Liborio Arrigo—come alive with stages, stalls, and light installations. Shops stay open for late-night shopping, while food stalls offer street food and traditional Sicilian specialties. It is a community-driven event, built collaboratively by merchants, sports and cultural associations, local artists, and citizens.
The program features a mix of live concerts, tribute bands, piano bars, and street bands, alongside street performers, stilt-walker parades, dance school performances, and children's entertainment. Cultural highlights include free guided tours of the city's churches and historic sites, such as the Sicilian cart workshop, craft and vintage car exhibitions, the Infiorata flower festival, and displays dedicated to the Termini Carnival.
Now in its many editions, the Notte Bianca is a staple of the summer in Termini Imerese, attracting visitors from all over Sicily. To facilitate attendance, special evening trains have been organized over the years. Admission is free, and the atmosphere is that of a classic Sicilian town festival: welcoming, grassroots, and lively—perfect for discovering the historical heritage and conviviality of this northern Sicilian town.
The dates and program for the 2026 edition of the Notte Bianca of Termini Imerese have not yet been announced. Based on previous editions, the event is expected to take place in August in the historic center of the town, featuring the usual formula of live music, street performers, street food, late-night shopping, and cultural visits. Official information will be published by the organizers on the dedicated website and the Municipality's channels in the weeks leading up to the event.
Termini Imerese is located on the Tyrrhenian coast, about 40 km from Palermo. By car, it is accessible via the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway (Termini Imerese exit). By train, the Termini Imerese station is on the Palermo-Messina line; special evening trains are often scheduled for the Notte Bianca.
Admission to all events is free. Food stalls and shops set their own prices.
Events take place in the historic center: we recommend leaving your car in the external parking lots and walking to the squares. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for the cobblestone streets of the center.
