Note e Sapori: Pretoro's collective festival

Note e Sapori is one of the most awaited evenings of the summer in Pretoro, a small village perched at approximately 560 meters on the slopes of the Majella, in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. Recognized as one of the 'Borghi più belli d'Italia' (Most Beautiful Villages in Italy), for one night, Pretoro transforms its alleys and small squares into a grand open-air stage, where live music intertwines with the scents and flavors of local cuisine.

Note e Sapori is part of the rich Estate a Pretoro (Summer in Pretoro) calendar, which accompanies the town from early June until September with excursions, shows, cultural events, and themed evenings. The festival represents one of the highlights of this calendar, capable of attracting locals, vacationers, and hikers drawn by the nature of the Majella National Park.

Experiencing Note e Sapori also means discovering Pretoro, historically known as the village of the fusari—skilled artisans who carved Majella wood to produce the famous spinning spindles.
