Three days of music, DJ sets, and youth-focused fun in Osasco
The New Generation Fest is the summer highlight dedicated to the young people of Osasco, a town in the Province of Turin set in the countryside of the Pinerolo area, in Piedmont. Organized by the Pro Loco Giovani with the support of the municipal administration, the festival transforms the small town for three days into a meeting point for youth and families, with a program that blends music, traditional gastronomy, popular games, and moments of solidarity.
The formula for the New Generation Fest is simple and successful: every evening begins with a convivial dinner featuring Piedmontese specialties, from gofri to fritto misto, continuing late into the night with DJ sets that get the square dancing. There is no shortage of tournaments and challenges typical of local tradition, such as the Balot competition, and the original New Generation Rally, the tractor parade that has become one of the most recognizable symbols of the event.
Among the most heartfelt moments of the event is the Red Dinner, organized by the AVIS of Osasco for World Blood Donor Day. The initiative combines celebration with social commitment, raising awareness among young people about the importance of donating and giving the festival's closing a meaning that goes beyond pure entertainment.
Admission to all New Generation Fest events is free, with the only exception being dinners that require reservations. This is the hallmark of an authentic village festival, making Osasco and the Pinerolo area a small hub of social life and tradition during the Piedmontese summer season.
La seconda edizione del New Generation Fest ha confermato il successo della manifestazione, animando Osasco per tre giorni con musica, gastronomia e solidarietà .
