The spring exhibition and market dedicated to nature, agriculture, and sustainability
Every April, the "D. Anzilotti" Agricultural Technical Institute in Pescia, located in the heart of the Valdinievole area in the province of Pistoia, opens the doors of its historic Villa Magnani campus for Naturalitas, an exhibition and market dedicated to the world of nature, agriculture, and sustainability. For two days, the school becomes a hub where nature, farming, and innovation meet, drawing visitors from all over Tuscany.
The heart of Naturalitas is its expansive exhibition area: over seventy exhibitors from all over Italy bring the outdoor spaces, gymnasium, sports fields, classrooms, and laboratories of the institute to life. Among the stalls, you will find plants and flowers, gourmet food and local specialties, animals, quality crafts, books, tractors, and agricultural machinery. There is also a dedicated area for tastings and lunch, as well as a play area designed for families with children.
Naturalitas carries a strong educational and outreach mission. Alongside the commercial aspect, Anzilotti students and teachers present projects, workshops, and activities related to the environment and the local area, while numerous volunteer and sports associations from the Valdinievole region participate with their own initiatives. Each edition revolves around a theme chosen by the students, which serves as a common thread for the displays and educational projects.
Having grown over time to become one of the most anticipated spring events in the Valdinievole, Naturalitas combines tradition, education, and the promotion of the local area. It is a unique opportunity to discover modern, sustainable agriculture rooted in local traditions, while also enjoying a day outdoors with the family. Admission is free.
The fourteenth edition of Naturalitas once again transformed the Villa Magnani campus into a grand fair of nature and agriculture, attracting visitors from all over Tuscany. Over seventy exhibitors showcased plants, flowers, gourmet food, local specialties, crafts, animals, and agricultural machinery. The theme of the edition explored the intersection of nutrition and emotions, examined from a biochemical and sensory perspective through contact with nature.
