A beer festival in the heart of a medieval village

Mutignano in Fermento — Specialty Beer Festival is the summer event that brings Mutignano to life every July, the ancient hilltop hamlet of the Pineto municipality, in the province of Teramo, in the heart of Abruzzo. For four evenings, the alleys and squares of the historic village fill with tasting stalls, music, and visitors from all over the region and beyond, drawn by one of the most appreciated beer festivals on the Abruzzo Adriatic coast.

Over fifty specialty beers from around the world

The heart of the festival is the brewing selection: over fifty types of specialty beers from Italian and international craft breweries and microbreweries, offered along a tasting route that winds through the entire village. From Abruzzo craft productions to international labels, visitors can discover different styles accompanied by street food rich in typical Abruzzo gastronomic offerings.

Music, shows, and entertainment

Mutignano in Fermento is not just about beer: the program for each edition includes live concerts, with musical groups and DJs alternating in the various squares of the town, as well as numerous attractions for all ages. Between one pint and another, there is room for:

• street performers and roving artists;
• illusionists and magic shows;
• animation and entertainment for children;
• exhibitions, screenings, and cultural itineraries in the village.

A village to be rediscovered

The setting of the event is one of its strengths: Mutignano is a small medieval village perched on the hills overlooking the Pineto coastline, with panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the Torre del Cerrano Marine Park. The festival's formula, with free admission, combines beer culture with the enhancement of the local historical and landscape heritage, transforming the village streets every July into a journey of taste, music, and conviviality.

Organization

The event is organized by the Associazione Culturale Officina 017, with the support of the Municipality of Pineto, and is included in the official calendar of Pineto's summer events.
