Musicavalese, the summer concert season in Cavalese

Musicavalese is the summer music festival that accompanies the months of July and August in Cavalese, the main hub of Val di Fiemme, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). The event is promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Cavalese in close collaboration with the Il Pentagramma di Fiemme e Fassa music school and the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, the ancient institution that has safeguarded the identity of the territory for centuries.

A festival spread across the town's landmarks

The hallmark of Musicavalese is its choice to take music out of concert halls and into the most beautiful and history-laden corners of Cavalese. Concerts are held in the courtyard and garden of the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, in the Santa Maria Assunta alla Pieve church, at the Parco della Pieve, in the charming Corte dei Pizzetti, at the Masi di Cavalese Festival Pavilion, and at Casa Bertelli. Each event thus becomes an opportunity to rediscover a local landmark accompanied by music.

A program for every taste

The lineup alternates between different genres and ensembles, almost all of which are expressions of the vibrant Il Pentagramma school. It ranges from the Fisorchestra Pentagramma conducted by Marco Graziola to the "Cartoon" shows by the PentAlps designed for families and children, and from choirs (Coro Highlight, Coro Nosc, Canticum Novum) to chamber duos, such as baritone and organ or flute and harp. A spectrum that spans from sacred music to popular repertoire, from accordion to chamber music.
