Densely inhabited in the Middle Ages, the fortress controlled a vast territory and is now accessible to the public, becoming a perfect scenic backdrop for the festival's "diffused" format, where history, architecture, and landscape are an integral part of the show.

Pomarance and the Colline Metallifere

Pomarance is a village in the Val di Cecina, in the Pisan hinterland, on the edge of the Colline Metallifere area and the evocative geothermal zones of Larderello.
