Two days of open-air live music in the heart of Cles
The Music Festival is the premier summer musical event in Cles, the main town of the Val di Non, located in the province of Trento in the heart of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Every year in mid-June, the town center comes alive with a long weekend of free open-air concerts, drawing crowds from across the valley and beyond. The main stage is set up along Corso Dante, the pedestrian artery of the historic center, which becomes the hub of a true community celebration for two days.
The event was born from the initiative of the Cles Youth Group, supported by the Municipality of Cles, the Pro Loco, and a network of local entities such as the Piano Giovani di Zona, the Val di Non Tourist Board, the Valley Community, and the Cassa Rurale. The project highlights youth leadership and focuses on the values of inclusion and participation: the Music Festival is designed as an open space where local young people can perform and grow alongside nationally acclaimed artists.
The format features over twenty local bands alternating on stage over the two days, providing many hours of live music spanning various genres: rock, pop, singer-songwriter, and lighter sounds. Over the years, the festival has also hosted a second stage dedicated to acoustic acts, duos, and trios, offering more intimate musical settings alongside the main stage.
Alongside young local acts, each edition features nationally renowned guests as the evening headliners. The names that have graced the Cles stage include artists from the Italian rock and pop scene as well as iconic performers, capable of attracting an intergenerational audience and giving national prominence to an event with deep local roots.
Access to all concerts is free. Bars, food stalls, and the local shops of the town center accompany the evenings, contributing to a festive atmosphere that involves the entire town. Today, the Cles Music Festival represents one of the most anticipated summer events in the Val di Non, successfully combining entertainment, the promotion of young talent, and the enhancement of the local area.
The fifth edition of the Cles Music Festival was held on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, 2026, along Corso Dante, in the heart of the historic center. The large stage set up in the square hosted over twenty local bands alongside two nationally renowned guests: Eugenio in Via di Gioia, performing during their summer tour with tracks from their latest album and new singles, and Bobby Solo, the iconic Italian singer known for his hit "Una lacrima sul viso". The event, with free admission, was organized by the Municipality of Cles with the involvement of local youth and community groups.
Cles can be reached by car via the SS43 Val di Non road, exiting from the Trento-Rocchetta highway, or by train via the Trento-Malé-Mezzana railway (Cles station). The main stage is located along Corso Dante, in the pedestrian historic center.
All concerts are free of charge.
The center is pedestrianized during the event: it is recommended to use the peripheral parking lots. For updated information on dates and the program, please refer to the Municipality of Cles and the event's social media channels.
