The Givoletto motorcycle rally in the hills of Val Casternone
Motogiasà is the signature motorcycle rally of Givoletto, a small town nestled in the hills of the Val Casternone, in the Province of Turin, Piedmont. Originally founded as a local meetup for two-wheel enthusiasts, the event has grown with each edition to become one of the most anticipated spring traditions in Givoletto. The formula is simple and successful: a shared passion for engines, a scenic ride through the rolling hills, and a group lunch that brings all participants together.
The meeting point is Piazza della Concordia, the central square of Givoletto, located just steps from the Town Hall. This is where bikers gather at the crack of dawn to chat, admire each other's machines, and soak up the anticipation before departure. From Piazza della Concordia, the group sets off for a ride around Givoletto, winding through the woods and hills north of Turin, where the landscape rewards those who prefer a slower pace. Upon returning, the day concludes in the most convivial way possible: with a group lunch that has become an integral part of the Motogiasà tradition.
Motogiasà is not just for modern bikes; the event also welcomes lovers of vintage motorcycles and cars, offering them a chance to showcase their vehicles and share their passion for historic transport. This inclusive, family-friendly spirit is what makes the event so cherished by the Givoletto community and neighboring towns.
Givoletto is a small village in the first hilly belt northwest of Turin, immersed in the greenery of the Val Casternone and overlooking the foothills that lead to the Valli di Lanzo. Its location makes it an ideal starting point for two-wheeled itineraries, featuring quiet roads, scenic hairpin bends, and authentic nature. Motogiasà highlights this deep connection between the village and its territory, turning a day of motoring into an opportunity to discover the hidden gems of this corner of Piedmont.
