About MOSA Festival

MOSA Festival is the major summer event in Casalgrande, in the province of Reggio Emilia, which combines live music, sport, and social commitment at Parco Secchia in Villalunga. For ten days, with concerts, DJ sets, sports tournaments, food areas, and markets, the festival enlivens the banks of the Secchia river with a free program open to the whole family, enriched by big names in Italian music and nationally recognized formats.

MOSA Festival in Casalgrande

MOSA Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in the ceramic district, organized by the association Power APS with the patronage of the Municipality of Casalgrande, in the province of Reggio Emilia, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. The event takes place at Parco Secchia in Villalunga, along the banks of the Secchia river, and offers a format that intertwines live music, sports activities, and a strong dimension of social interaction and volunteering.

A multidisciplinary festival

For ten days, the park transforms into a true entertainment hub. Alongside the main stage, dedicated to major concerts and DJ sets, a second area is set up for emerging artists and new musical proposals, with the participation of realities from all over Italy thanks to the collaboration with MEI – Meeting of Independent Labels. The festival thus becomes a meeting point between established names on the national scene and young talents seeking visibility.

Sport and outdoor activities

The sports component is one of the distinctive features of MOSA Festival. The program includes the Mosa Run, a race along the Secchia Nature Trail, the Rombo di Tuono car rally, football, basketball, and volleyball tournaments, as well as cycling activities, paintball, and sports demonstrations. An offer designed to engage enthusiasts of all ages and to enhance the relationship with the river environment.

Food, markets, and families

The festival area hosts fourteen food stalls, over fifty exhibitors and markets, attractions, and spaces dedicated to families, with numerous opportunities for meeting. Admission to the area is free, while some major concerts require a ticket. An important part of the project is dedicated to inclusion and solidarity, with the participation of young people from ANFFAS and support for organizations working for families and people in difficulty in the area.

An event for the Reggio Emilia territory

Having grown edition after edition, MOSA Festival has become a reference point for the Reggio Emilia summer, capable of attracting thousands of visitors to Casalgrande from all over the province of Reggio Emilia and beyond, combining fun, quality music, sport, and social commitment in one large outdoor event.
