About Moonland
The music that lights up the Sarzana summer
Born in 2019 from a municipal initiative, Moonland has established itself as one of the main music festivals of the Ligurian summer. The setting is the evocative Piazza Matteotti, in the historic center of Sarzana (Province of La Spezia), where Italian and international artists from the singer-songwriter and contemporary scene perform each year.
A stage for the big names
In its editions, Moonland has hosted artists of the caliber of Ben Harper, Manu Chao, PFM, and Vinicio Capossela, confirming itself as an event capable of combining musical quality and an intimate atmosphere. The festival is not just music: the name "Music Art Performance" recalls a dimension that intertwines concerts, art, and performance languages.
A growing festival
Organized by Bluesin and LEG Live Emotion Group in collaboration with the Municipality of Sarzana, Moonland has become a reference point for audiences in Eastern Liguria and nearby Tuscany. Each edition offers a program of a few, selected evening concerts, designed to enhance the acoustics and charm of the square.
Moonland — edition 2026
The 8th edition of Moonland enlivens Piazza Matteotti in Sarzana in July 2026. Among the first announced names are the singer-songwriter from Genoa, ALFA, expected on July 27th, and Daniele Silvestri, scheduled for July 23rd. The full lineup will be revealed in the months leading up to the festival. The event is organized by Bluesin and LEG Live Emotion Group in collaboration with the Municipality of Sarzana.

By train: Sarzana station on the Genoa–La Spezia–Pisa line. By car: A12 or A15, Sarzana exit. Concerts are held in Piazza Matteotti.
