About Spring Fair

Every year, in the heart of the Breo district, Mondovì celebrates its Spring Fair, one of the most beloved historical events in the Cuneo area. Two days of bustling markets, floral exhibitions, the Razza Piemontese cattle show, outdoor sports, high-quality gastronomy, and cultural meetings bring the streets and squares of the historic center to life. An event that draws thousands of visitors from across Piedmont to discover the colors, flavors, and traditions of the Monregalese spring.

The spring fair that defines Mondovì

The Mondovì Spring Fair is one of the most anticipated events on the calendar in the Monregalese area, in the province of Cuneo. Every spring, the historic center of the Breo district transforms into a vast open-air exhibition space: streets, squares, and avenues welcome merchants, nurserymen, farmers, and artisans in an event that blends commerce, nature, culture, and leisure. With over sixty years of history, the Fair has become a hallmark of the Piedmontese city and a reference point for the entire Cuneo region.

The Grand Market and exhibition areas

The beating heart of the event is the Grand Spring Market, which fills Piazza Ellero and the surrounding streets with hundreds of stalls. Numerous thematic sections are spread throughout the center: agricultural producers and the leisure and outdoor area along Corso Statuto, the space dedicated to home, technology, and services in Piazza della Repubblica and Piazzale Unità d'Italia, car displays along Viale Einaudi, and the agricultural machinery and gardening area. Creative crafts and vintage items can be found between Via Sant'Agostino and Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore.

Flowers, plants, and the Razza Piemontese

The floral and nursery vocation is one of the Fair's hallmarks: Piazza Carlo Ferrero hosts flowers and plants, featuring nurserymen, agronomic advice, and garden design ideas. The livestock heart of the event is the "Prima-Vera Piemontese" exhibition, dedicated to Razza Piemontese cattle, accompanied by educational farms with animals that are highly popular with families.

Culture, gastronomy, and sports

Beyond the market, the Fair offers a rich cultural and entertainment program. The "Garden of Words" lounge in Piazza Cesare Battisti hosts meetings, book presentations, and dialogues on climate, biodiversity, gardens, and innovation. For children, there is the Kid Garden, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy street soccer, a climbing wall, urban rafting, and the "Mondovì in the Loop" cycling experience. The offering is completed by street food and high-quality local wine and food.

A Monregalese tradition

Organized by the Municipality of Mondovì, the Spring Fair is much more than a market: it is the festival with which the Monregalese area welcomes the arrival of the warm season. Strolling through the flower-filled stalls of Breo, tasting typical Cuneo products, and breathing in the lively atmosphere of these two days is the best way to discover the authentic soul of this corner of Piedmont.

Spring Fair — edition 2026

The 65th edition of the Mondovì Spring Fair took place on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in the historic center of Breo. The Grand Spring Market, floral exhibitions, the "Prima-Vera Piemontese" livestock show, outdoor sports, and a rich cultural program at the "Garden of Words" brought the streets and squares to life, with the new addition of an Agroecology space in Piazzetta Moizo.

The 65th Mondovì Spring Fair was held on April 11 and 12, 2026, in the Breo district, confirming its role as a major spring event in the Monregalese area. Alongside the Grand Market and traditional exhibition areas (horticulture, agriculture, cars, leisure), the 2026 edition introduced important new features: an Agroecology space in Piazzetta Moizo with producers from the Ecorami network, the first management by the Monregalese Promotion Board in Piazza Carlo Ferrero together with Slow Food, and a focus on edible flowers and flower-based cuisine.

Numerous guests participated in the cultural program, including climatologist Claudio Cassardo, journalist Emanuela Rosa Clot, Professor Paolo Fino from the Polytechnic, and RAI meteorologist Andrea Vuolo.
