Modica Rock Fest

A full day of rock in Modica

The Modica Rock Fest is a music festival bringing twelve consecutive hours of live rock to Rock Modica, a venue located in Contrada Michelica, in the industrial district of Modica, in the heart of the Ragusa province. From 12:00 PM to midnight, the event features a non-stop sequence of concerts, DJ sets, shows, and moments of pure conviviality, focusing on energy, community, and the identity of a genre that continues to speak to generations of fans.

The musical program

The stage hosts a rotation of emerging bands and groups already active on the local and regional music scene. Announced acts include VöRA, Trincee d'Asfalto, Mobslay, Shut The Radio, Dodicesima Nota, Frijda, and Emanuele Giunta. The live line-up is complemented by DJ sets that keep the crowd going until late at night, creating a seamless sonic journey throughout the day.

Shows and side activities

Modica Rock Fest is about more than just music. The day features numerous side events that bring the venue to life:

• biker games and challenges for motorcycle enthusiasts;
• dart matches and other recreational activities;

Food and beer area

A large space is dedicated to dining, with a street food area offering specialties to enjoy during the concerts: pulled chicken, tacos, and hot dogs, paired with craft beer from Birra Tarì, one of the event organizers alongside Rock Modica and Avimec. The combination of music, food, and drinks makes the festival an informal gathering spot for locals and visitors from nearby towns.
