Every second Saturday of the month, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the park transforms into a space dedicated to movement, mindful eating, and outdoor socializing, with free admission and activities open to the entire community.
A project born in 2026
The initiative was launched in January 2026 thanks to the collaboration between the Pro Loco of Santa Croce Camerina and the GAS Mazzarelli (Solidarity Purchasing Group), with the goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle and showcasing the Fonte Paradiso Urban Park as a place for meeting and wellness. The guiding principle is simple and virtuous: move outdoors, eat genuine seasonal products, and rediscover the pleasure of being together.
The GAS Mazzarelli farmers' market
The heart of every event is the GAS Mazzarelli farmers' market, where local producers offer seasonal fruit, vegetables, and fresh goods, focusing on short supply chains and responsible consumption. Local bakeries complete the offering: traditional bread accompanies the social picnics that conclude every morning at the park.
Sports, wellness, and workshops
Each edition offers different disciplines, always free and open to everyone: yoga, pilates, piloga, and zumba kids are among the most popular activities, led by local instructors and sports associations. There are also creative workshops, such as handmade soap making or activities dedicated to children, as well as artistic sessions that blend nature, sports, and creativity.

Cibus Sano in Corpore Sano 2026
2026 is the debut year of the initiative, conceived by the Pro Loco of Santa Croce Camerina together with the GAS Mazzarelli. The first appointment was held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, with the distribution of products from GAS producers, a pilates class with instructor Gessica Rimmaudo, and a picnic with traditional local bread.
The year's appointments
The April 11, 2026 edition featured, alongside the farmers' market (10:00 AM-1:00 PM), a pilates and zumba kids class with Gessica Rimmaudo, a picnic with products from Panificio Passarello, the "Coloriamo la Pace" (Coloring Peace) workshop for children, and the "Pennellate di Pace 2026" (Brushstrokes of Peace 2026) artistic session. On May 9, 2026, the morning opened with a yoga class led by Sara Fatuzzo, followed by a handmade soap workshop by the Kamarinense association and a picnic with products from Panificio San Vincenzo.
