About MirtilliAMO

MirtilliAMO is a food, wine, and cultural festival celebrating the blueberry, the iconic fruit of Revello in the Cuneo area. Revello boasts the largest concentration of blueberry cultivation in the province and the entire Piedmont region, with approximately 180 hectares that have earned it the nickname 'the blue gem of the Po Valley'. Featuring tastings, markets, field tours, show cooking, conferences, and live music, it is a full weekend dedicated to berries and local excellence.

MirtilliAMO, the blueberry festival in Revello

In the heart of the Po Valley, at the foot of Monviso, the town of Revello (Province of Cuneo, Piedmont) dedicates an entire weekend to its signature fruit: the blueberry. The MirtilliAMO – The Blue Gem of the Po Valley event was born as a modern evolution of the historic Berry Festival and highlights the agricultural excellence that has made this corner of the Saluzzo area famous.

Revello, the Piedmontese capital of blueberries

Revello is the municipality with the largest extent of blueberry cultivation at both the provincial and regional levels: about 180 hectares of crops that have earned it the title of 'the blue gem of the Po Valley'. Other local berries also revolve around the blueberry, forming a supply chain that unites producers, restaurateurs, and the local Pro Loco in a community celebration.

A weekend of taste, nature, and culture

The event offers a rich and varied program that weaves together the different facets of the town. Typical activities include:

  • food and wine markets, handicrafts, and direct sales of blueberries and other berries;
  • tastings and show cooking sessions with local chefs and restaurateurs;
  • conferences and educational workshops dedicated to blueberries, health, and research;
  • visits to the Po River Naturalistic Museum and tasting-walks along the trails through the blueberry fields;
  • children's entertainment, equestrian activities, live music, and Occitan dances.

The opening ceremony, dinners under the stars in the historic center, and concerts bring the town squares to life, particularly Piazza Carlo Denina and Piazza San Rocco, transforming Revello into a landmark for lovers of local products and slow tourism.

A widespread event in the Po Valley

The festival also involves the neighboring town of Martiniana Po, which concludes the event with a wellness walk and a blueberry-themed lunch. MirtilliAMO is thus a widespread event that tells the story of the Po Valley's identity, between the Bronda and Infernotto valleys, inviting visitors to discover a territory defined by nature, gastronomy, and tradition.
