The most anticipated white night on the Amalfi Coast
Minori in White is the event that has defined the peak of summer for over fifteen years in Minori, a charming town in the Province of Salerno overlooking the Amalfi Coast in Campania. The concept is a classic white party: guests arrive dressed in white from head to toe, and for one night, the town turns into a massive open-air celebration filled with electronic music, lights, and sea breezes. It is neither a nightclub nor a traditional concert; it is a white night built each year around a unique theme, featuring elaborate set designs, light installations, and giant screens that shape the evening's atmosphere.
The event was founded in 2009 by a group of local youths who later formed the Think in White association, which still manages the event today. Over the years, the festival has changed venues several times: the eleventh edition in 2019 took place at the Maiori Port Amphitheater under the theme 'The Dawn of a New Day', while the pandemic forced a hiatus for several seasons. The comeback arrived in 2023, again in Maiori, with a twelfth edition aptly titled 'The Rebirth of a Phoenix'. However, the true homecoming occurred in 2025: after nine years, the festival returned to the Minori seafront for its fourteenth edition, dedicated to 'The Last Dance'.
The fifteenth edition is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, with the guiding theme 'The Great Beauty'โa concept chosen to engage with the landscape of the Amalfi Coast, from the sea to the terraced lemon groves and the bell towers overlooking the valley. The organizers have announced the date and theme while maintaining their usual mystery regarding the rest: the names of the DJs and special guests are only revealed in the final weeks, a strategy of anticipation that has become a hallmark of the event's identity.
The big news for 2026 is the setting. Minori in White is now part of the Arena del Mare lineup, a venue set up on the beach of Minori, active from August 15 to 31, 2026. The program features a mix of music, theater, comedy, dance, and fine dining: from the Ferragosto night DJ set to tributes to Neapolitan song, performances by Biagio Izzo and Lina Sastri, a jazz concert by Eduardo De Crescenzo, and the 'Arena Stellata' gourmet dinner, concluding with a contemporary dance show. Within this calendar, the white night on August 26 remains the signature event that draws the largest crowds.
Minori is known as the City of Taste: it is home to traditional coastal desserts, from pastiera to lemon delights, and the town preserves a 1st-century A.D. Roman Maritime Villa that can be visited just steps from the sea. The wide, central beach and the pedestrian-friendly promenade make the village perfectly suited for a public event like this. Visitors arriving for the white night will find one of the most interesting gastronomic and archaeological stops on the Amalfi Coast.
In recent years, the event has stood out for its focus on crowd management: reinforced security, the presence of local police, Carabinieri, the Red Cross, and Civil Protection volunteers, along with entrance checks and capped capacity. Every year, organizers also request the cooperation of residents regarding noise levels, given that the historic center's homes are located right next to the party area.
Fifteenth edition for the white night of Minori, in the Province of Salerno: mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Arena del Mare, the new space set up on the beachfront of this Amalfi Coast town. The year's theme, 'The Great Beauty', will accompany the entire evening and be translated into set designs and atmospheres designed to highlight the landscape of the Amalfi Coast.
The formula remains the one that made the event recognizable: a white party with a strictly white dress code, DJ sets, live vocals, and an impactful lighting system overlooking the sea. At the moment, the organizers of the Think in White association are keeping the names of the artists under wraps: the detailed program and guests will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
The evening is one of the signature events of the Arena del Mare lineup, the festival that brings music, theater, comedy, dance, and fine dining to the beach of Minori from August 15 to 31, 2026.
