Millenium: A night of iconic hits in Laives

Millenium is the concert event that transforms the center of Laives/Leifers, in the heart of the Oltradige-Bassa Atesina region, into a massive open-air dance floor every summer. Dedicated to the greatest hits of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, the event brings together families, young people, and fans of the pop and dance music that defined those decades, with a repertoire designed to get everyone singing and dancing until late at night.

One of the three "long Saturdays" of LaivEstate

Millenium is one of the three "long Saturdays" that anchor the LaivEstate/LeiferSommer summer festival, promoted by the Municipality of Laives in collaboration with the Laives Culture Committee and local associations. The calendar, featuring around fifty events from June to September, alternates between concerts, parties, shows, culinary events, and family activities: the three main Saturdays are Music on the Street in July, Millenium in August, and the Sports Festival in September.

The new Piazza Municipio

As of 2026, Millenium boasts a brand-new setting: the new Piazza Municipio, inaugurated in May 2026. This 11,000-square-meter space has become the city's new open-air living room. Returned to the citizens as a place for gathering and celebration, the square hosts major city events throughout the summer, with the Millenium concert being one of its most anticipated highlights.

A free event for the whole community

Like most LaivEstate events, Millenium is free to attend: a choice that makes it a moment open to the entire Laives community and visitors from neighboring towns and Bolzano. The evening combines the popular spirit of a village festival with the energy of a major summer concert, set against the bilingual backdrop typical of South Tyrol, where Italian and German coexist in daily cultural life.

Laives (Leifers), located in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, is one of the main urban centers in South Tyrol, just south of the provincial capital.
