The Messina Oktoberfest at Villa Dante is the autumn festival that brings the atmosphere of the famous Bavarian celebration to the heart of Messina, the capital of the Metropolitan City of the same name in Sicily. For three days, the spacious Villa Dante park, located along Viale della Libertà, turns into a large village where beer, street food, sports, and music meet in a popular festive atmosphere open to everyone.

Taste and beer take center stage

The heart of the event lies in the fifteen wooden stalls dedicated to food and beer, offering traditional dishes, street food, and a selection of beers designed to recreate the authentic taste of Oktoberfest. Access to products is managed by a convenient token system, which can be purchased directly at the area's cash desks, allowing you to move freely between the stands without any hassle.

Sports, shows, and families

Alongside the food and wine, Villa Dante hosts tournaments and sports activities organized in collaboration with Csain Sicilia, as well as entertainment for all ages. There is no shortage of live music with concerts and evening performances, shows, and a vast area dedicated to children with inflatables, pony rides, and the classic mechanical bull. There is also space for hobbyists and crafts along the park's paths.

A free festival for the city

The event, organized by Ma Pro Eventi e Servizi together with Csain Sicilia and with the operational contribution of the Messina Social City company and the municipal administration, has completely free entry. Established in 2025 as its first edition, the event aims to become a permanent fixture in the Messina autumn calendar, capable of enlivening one of the city's most popular parks and offering families a weekend of taste, sports, and outdoor fun.
