The Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Massa Lombarda, a town in Bassa Romagna in the province of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna. For three days, Piazza Matteotti and the streets of the historic center fill with tables, the aroma of food, and live music, kicking off the municipality's rich summer calendar.

Beer, Taste, and Village Festival Atmosphere

The heart of the event is, of course, the draft beer, accompanied by food stalls offering traditional dishes and Tyrolean-style specialties: sausages, wurstels, sauerkraut, and dishes designed to pair with the steins. The Beer Festival is not an isolated event: it is part of the "E...state a Massa" program, the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Massa Lombarda together with cultural, sports, and volunteer associations of the area. From June to September, Piazza Matteotti and the historic center host festivals, concerts, open-air cinema, markets, and events of Romagnola popular tradition, such as the famous Sagra delle Sfogline. The Beer Festival is one of the first events to kick off this long summer of initiatives.
