A summer festival in the heart of the Passeier Valley

The Mårtiner Kultursummer (St. Martin Cultural Summer) is the cultural event that brings summer evenings to life in St. Martin in Passeier, set in the stunning Passeier Valley in the Province of Bolzano (South Tyrol, Italy). Organized by the Passeier Valley Tourist Board, the festival features a series of evening events between July and August that transform the Dorfhaus (Village Hall) into a vibrant stage for both locals and holidaymakers.

Furthermore, the shows take place regardless of the weather, thanks to the indoor space of the Dorfhaus, ensuring that neither rain nor the typical summer mountain storms can spoil the evening.

St. Martin in Passeier and the Passeier Valley

St. Martin in Passeier is a town of just over three thousand inhabitants located at an altitude of about 600 meters, along the road leading to the Timmelsjoch Pass. The Passeier Valley is famous for being the birthplace of the Tyrolean hero Andreas Hofer and for its strong bond with South Tyrolean traditions. In summer, the valley is a popular destination for hikers and mountain enthusiasts: the Kultursummer fits perfectly into this setting as an evening offering that combines culture, music, and conviviality after days spent outdoors.
