The festival of wellness, creativity, and culture in Trinità
Mandala Fest has become one of the most anticipated spring events in the town of Trinità, in the province of Cuneo. Launched in 2023 as a festival "dedicated to new beginnings," the event has grown year after year into a true open-air wellness village, attracting visitors from across Piedmont. Organized by the Wolf Cultural Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Trinità, the festival transforms the charming Giardini del Castello dei Conti Costa and Piazza Umberto I for an entire day into a space dedicated to creativity, spirituality, and holistic culture.
The guiding theme of the event is the mandala, an ancient geometric and spiritual form representing harmony, balance, and transformation. The highlight is the creation of a large 36-square-meter grain mandala in Piazza Umberto I: a collective work built in the morning with the opening of the circle and dismantled at the end of the day in a dissolution ceremony. It is a gesture rich in meaning, reminding us that beauty is ephemeral and that everything is destined to transform, just as the themes chosen for each edition suggest.
Throughout the day, the Castle Gardens host numerous holistic practitioners and exhibitors, with around 50 stands in total. The public can immerse themselves in a rich and varied program:
One of the most solemn moments of the day is the presentation of the Honoribus, an award created to celebrate those who preserve and pass on the art of ancient crafts. The award gives Mandala Fest a dimension that goes beyond personal wellness, weaving the spiritual aspect with the promotion of the traditions and artisanal knowledge of the Cuneo area.
With free admission, the green setting of the Castle Gardens, and activities designed for all ages, Mandala Fest is an ideal destination for those seeking a different kind of day, focused on slowness, mindfulness, and discovery. The event is also part of the broader calendar of spring festivals in Trinità, tied to the patronal celebrations of Saint George.
The 2026 edition of Mandala Fest focused on the theme of Metamorphosis, or transformation: following the previous edition dedicated to "Ad Infinitum" and the exploration of the infinite, the Wolf Association chose a concept with strong emotional and symbolic impact for its ninth year. For an entire Sunday, the Giardini del Castello dei Conti Costa were transformed into a wellness village, with around 50 exhibitors, treatments, workshops, and a dense program of meditations and conferences. The central moment was, as per tradition, the creation of the grain mandala in Piazza Umberto I, which was dissolved in the evening during the dissolution ceremony. The day also included the presentation of the Honoribus award, dedicated to those who pass on ancient crafts.
Event active from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM in the Giardini del Castello dei Conti Costa and Piazza Umberto I.
Throughout the day (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM): playful and educational workshops for all ages, creative activities, stands with around 50 exhibitors, and holistic practitioners offering shiatsu, reflexology, and energy treatments.
