The name, in the local Ciociarian dialect, is a straightforward invitation: "eat, eat." And that is exactly what visitors do, enjoying food stalls, traditional dishes, and live music in the square in front of the church.

A young but beloved event

The first edition took place in August 2023, and in just a few years, Magna Magna has become one of the most anticipated summer events in the area. Organized by the Santa Lucia Cultural Association, the festival was born from the desire to revitalize the small village with an event capable of bringing together residents, families, and visitors from the Cassinate and Liri Valley. It is a simple and sincere way to gather in the square on warm summer nights.

The heart of the event is the food stalls, which generally open at 7:00 PM and offer specialties from the Ciociaria region, ranging from pasta dishes to traditional peasant recipes. The dining experience is always accompanied by live music, with bands and dance groups entertaining the crowd until late in the evening.
