The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Castellina Marittima as part of the "Terre Pisano Livornesi: food and territory" project, designed to support small local farms and offer them a dedicated space to promote, share, and sell their products. It is a tangible opportunity for producers, residents, and visitors to meet, built around the idea of short supply chains and conscious consumption.

Farm-to-table products and tastings

The core of the event is the market exhibition itself: a series of stalls featuring farm-to-table produce, where you can buy directly from the growers and discover the quality of agriculture in these hills, which have always been suited to wine, olive oil, and grain production. There are also spaces dedicated to wine tastings, with the participation of local wineries, alongside samples of other typical local products.

Hikes, workshops, and activities for children

The day does not end at the stalls. The program includes a guided hike along the green paths around the village, organized by the Viaggiatori Lenti association, to discover the landscape and the ancient traces of the territory. For families, there are workshops and activities for children, with games and encounters with the animals of the educational farm, making the morning suitable for all ages.
