The event takes place in the evocative setting of Palazzo Principe Naselli, an elegant 18th-century building that overlooks the central Piazza Umberto I, serving as the focal point for the Nativity story told to visitors.

A Narrated, Travelling Performance

The Aragona event is not a static display, but a narrated, travelling nativity: a journey through time and memory where performers in period costumes become actors in the sacred scene. Blacksmiths, artisans, and farmers animate various settings with ancient crafts and scenes of daily life from yesteryear. The performance is curated by the Vincenzian Volunteer Groups Association and is inspired by the principles of charity and hospitality of Saint Vincent de Paul. The nativity involves many families and young people from the community in a collective project that weaves together faith, memory, and the town's identity. During the evenings, there are tastings of local products, from boiled chickpeas to traditional sweets, along with entertainment designed for children.
