About Liguria da Bere

For three days, Corso Cavour transforms into the grand street of Ligurian wine. Liguria da Bere brings the region's wine excellences to the heart of La Spezia: from Vermentino to Pigato, from Rossese to Ormeasco, up to the pearls of the eastern Spezia area like Sciacchetrà. With a glass in hand, stroll among the producers' stands, discovering the wines and typical products of Ligurian heroic viticulture.

Ligurian wine in the square

Liguria da Bere is the major event dedicated to the region's wines that enlivens Corso Cavour in the center of La Spezia every year. Founded in 2005, the event is promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of the Ligurian Riviera and brings together producers from the provinces of Imperia, La Spezia, and Savona in a large open-air tasting journey.

The region's great wines

The protagonists are the Ligurian DOC and IGT wines: the fresh and savory notes of Vermentino and Pigato, full-bodied reds like Rossese and Ormeasco, and the historical excellences of eastern Spezia, including the famous Sciacchetrà from Cinque Terre. A showcase of so-called "heroic viticulture," practiced on terraces overlooking the sea.

More than just wine

Alongside the glasses, stands offer typical local products: artisanal pestos, DOP extra virgin olive oil, and other Ligurian culinary specialties. With the official kit—a glass and a branded bag—visitors can freely move among the exhibitors, interacting directly with the producers. An event that links agricultural quality with the Riviera's tourism promotion.

Liguria da Bere — edition 2026

The 14th edition of Liguria da Bere returns to La Spezia from June 26 to 28, 2026, on Corso Cavour. Ligurian DOC and IGT wines are the stars — Vermentino, Pigato, Rossese, Ormeasco, and Sciacchetrà — along with artisanal pestos and DOP EVO oil. With the official kit (glass and bag), enjoy free tastings at the producers' stands.

The fourteenth edition of Liguria da Bere takes place from June 26 to 28, 2026, on Corso Cavour in La Spezia. The event brings together producers from the provinces of Imperia, La Spezia, and Savona, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of the Ligurian Riviera.
