Liguria da Bere is the major event dedicated to the region's wines that enlivens Corso Cavour in the centre of La Spezia every year. Founded in 2005, the event is promoted by the Chamber of Commerce Riviere di Liguria and brings together producers from the Imperia, La Spezia, and Savona territories in a large open-air tasting journey.
The region's great wines
The protagonists are Ligurian DOC and IGT wines: the fresh and savoury notes of Vermentino and Pigato, full-bodied reds like Rossese and Ormeasco, and the historic excellences of the eastern Spezia area, including the famous Sciacchetrà from Cinque Terre. A showcase of so-called "heroic viticulture", practiced on terraces overlooking the sea.
More than just wine
Alongside the glasses, the stands offer typical local products: artisanal pestos, DOP extra virgin olive oil, and other specialities of Ligurian cuisine. With the official kit — a glass and a branded bag — visitors move freely among the exhibitors, interacting directly with the producers. An event that links agricultural quality and tourism promotion of the Riviera.
Liguria da Bere — edition 2026
The fourteenth edition of Liguria da Bere takes place from June 26 to 28, 2026, on Corso Cavour in La Spezia. The event brings together producers from the Imperia, La Spezia, and Savona territories, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce Riviere di Liguria.
Featured are the region's great wines — from Vermentino and Pigato to the reds Rossese and Ormeasco, up to Sciacchetrà from the eastern area — paired with typical products such as artisanal pestos and DOP extra virgin olive oil. Visitors receive the official kit with a crystal glass and a branded bag.
