Three evenings spread across the villages of Terricciola, City of Wine
Le Notti del Vino is one of the most beloved summer events in the municipality of Terricciola, in the province of Pisa, nestled in the heart of the Valdera hills in Tuscany. Rather than being confined to a single square, this is a true "diffused" festival that moves across the municipal hamletsโCasanova, the main town of Terricciola, and Soianaโover three consecutive nights. Each village welcomes visitors with its own atmosphere, unique views, and specific program, all tied together by the sensory narrative of Terricciola, which proudly holds the title of City of Wine.
The stars of the show are the local wineries, which present their labels to the public. The core of the experience is the token system: use the tokens purchased at the entrance to sample wines freely, moving from one stand to another to build your own tasting itinerary. Professional sommeliers are on hand to guide you, sharing insights into the grape varieties, the wineries, and the characteristics of this region with its long winemaking tradition. Starting at 6:00 PM, you can also enjoy traditional dishes prepared by local associations, perfectly pairing your glass with the flavors of Tuscan cuisine.
Le Notti del Vino is about more than just tastings: each evening is enriched by a unique artistic and musical program, ranging from jazz concerts and performances to live music and art installations scattered throughout the alleys. The goal is to showcase each village in a unique way, turning squares, terraces, and panoramic viewpoints into open-air stages. Walking through stone streets with a glass in hand, listening to music, and admiring the sunset over the hills is what makes these evenings truly special.
The event is part of the summer initiatives promoted in the region and is supported by the Tuscany North-West Chamber of Commerce, which selected Le Notti del Vino as a highlight of the summer in the province of Pisa. For Terricciola, a small town of just over four thousand inhabitants, wine is not just a product but a deep element of identity: these evenings tell the story of a cohesive community and a generous land, inviting residents and tourists alike to discover the oenological excellence of the Terre di Pisa in an authentic and convivial setting.
Le Notti del Vino 2026 takes place over three consecutive evenings, from 6:00 PM until late, one in each of the villages of the Municipality of Terricciola:
As every year, the heart of the event is the tastings guided by professional sommeliers, with the token system allowing you to freely sample wines from local wineries. Accompanying the glasses are traditional dishes prepared by local associations. The 2026 edition is among the initiatives supported by the Tuscany North-West Chamber of Commerce.
The detailed artistic and musical program for the three evenings will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event by the Municipality of Terricciola. Check the official channels and the Terriccioleventi Facebook page for updates.

Terricciola is located in the province of Pisa, in the Valdera area. By car, it can be reached via the SGC FI-PI-LI (Pontedera exit), continuing towards Capannoli and Terricciola; the three evenings take place in the hamlets of Casanova, Terricciola, and Soiana, all just a few kilometers apart. By train, the reference station is Pontedera-Casciana Terme, from where you can continue by car or local transport.
The evenings begin at 6:00 PM and continue until late (approximately 11:45 PM). Admission to the event area is generally free; tastings operate on a token system: purchase tokens to choose the wines you wish to sample at the winery stands.
