Nestled in the Monte Corno Nature Park in the Bassa Atesina region, in the province of Bolzano (Trentino-Alto Adige), this small village kicks off its summer evenings with a rich calendar of authentic events.
A different theme every week
The formula for the Langer Mittwoch is simple and successful: every Wednesday is dedicated to a different motto. Throughout the summer, evenings alternate between wellness according to the Kneipp method, theater-aperitifs, folk dances accompanied by strauben (traditional South Tyrolean fritters), beer tastings, and live concerts. The evenings are brought to life by local associations, organizations, and merchants, who take turns animating the Dorfplatz, the central square.

The events take place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM directly on the village square of Trodena. The festival is organized by the South Tyrolean Women Farmers' Organization (Südtiroler Bäuerinnenorganisation) of Trodena together with local associations, with the support of the Südtirols Süden tourism region.

The Langer Mittwoch 2026 in Trodena nel parco naturale confirms the usual appointment with summer Wednesday evenings on the Dorfplatz, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The first evening is scheduled for July 15, 2026, with a performance by the local brass band, the Musikkapelle Truden. The evenings continue every Wednesday until the end of August, each dedicated to a different theme: Kneipp wellness, theater-aperitifs, folk dances with strauben, beer tastings, and concerts.
